The weather leading up to the show was cool, but dry. Starting yesterday afternoon, rain started to come down and has not up for any given period of time. The rest of the week is looking like more of the same, but hopefully the forecast is proven wrong.
Yesterday I was working on a 44' Mochi, and I was impressed with some of the little features it had to offer which I do not consider to be common. For a 44' it had a lot to offer with 2 berths, 2 heads, fold down transom, tender compartment, passerelle, motorized canopy, and cockpit shade. There also was a safe hidden in the closet of the master stateroom. While it was not large, it was in there securely with a keypad and would be big enough to stash some cash(or gold if you are worried about inflation) and jewelery. Another design choice which was appealing to the eye was the master berth was very close to the ground, as compared to the normal 2-3 feet. It made the room feel bigger, and would make it easier to get in and out. The only downside was a loss of storage space.
That's it for now, back to the show!
