We heard rumors that the boat was for sale at the Palm Beach Show (the boat is a little big for them to bother bringing it to a smaller show) and it turns out the rumors were true (we also heard Mark Zuckerberg was onboard LIFES FINEST for a party, anyone wanna confirm that??). Also, he is still looking for a broker, another reason it was not at the show. Tiger commissioned the boat in 2004 from Christensen for $20 Million. Here are some specs from PMY

Tiger is likely selling the boat as part of the headache that comes with divorce. That's not the first time the boat has caused him grief. The first I had heard about the boat was when Christensen let it be known to some media and later on their website (including pictures of Tiger and Elin!) that they were building the boat for Tiger. As the name PRIVACY suggests, the boat is to get away from his celebrity status, to relax somewhere sunny. With the world knowing whose boat it was; no more incognito. This discretion / Non-disclosure agreement was outlined in the build contract, and Tiger decided to sue Christensen for breaking the contract... for $50 million... over a boat that cost $20 million. In the end, a judge ruled in Tiger's favor, for $1.6 Million.
As if that was not enough, a deckhand on the boat, Alexander McKee lost his finger when it was slammed in a hatch. Initially Alex was happy with the care given to him by boat, but likely after a few kind souls who chased his ambulance to the hospital talked some sense into him; is coming back to sue for an undisclosed amount.
With drama like this and a likely messy divorce, perhaps he is simply liquidating for the moment, and then getting a smaller, faster boat to escape the paparazzo, (he already has a smaller 61 Garlington, named SOLITUDE, supposedly a present to Elin when some allegations were coming to light). Or maybe a much bigger, bachelor boat, that can house multiple mistresses at once while they are unbeknownst to each other!
The boat is currently listed for $25 million, which is slightly uncharacteristic of high end pricing, as Tiger is saying the yacht APPRECIATED in value (who says boats arent "investments"??). John Staluppi, (owner/builder of all the 'Bond Boats', QUANTUM OF SOLACE, CASINO ROYALE which was also built by Christensen, OCTOPUSSY, etc.) says:
"The market on big yachts has gone down," Staluppi told The Palm Beach Post. "Banks aren't financing and the economy is off. It's a buyer's market. Unless he sells to someone who wants to brag that he's got Tiger's yacht, he'll get about $20 million."
This man has built enough boats to know what to expect, I also sincerely doubt he will get more than $20 million. I was shocked at some of the deals available at Palm Beach, and people thinking Tiger is a motivated seller will not help.
PRIVACY was not in it's slip at Old Port Cove on Monday, apparently getting some paint and deckwork before the sale. The view from the 17th floor of Lakeshore Tower at OPC (we know a guy) shows the wall on the far dock empty. MINE GAMES is often parked in front of PRIVACY when not on charter.
